I have a model (a vase downloaded from thingiverse) and I would like to print the bottom part of it with a given filling percentage (e.g 20% for 2 or 3 centimeters) then I want to move to spiralize mode.

Cura 3.0.4 I am printing an hollow object (Not a vase) which could be printed in "Vase" mode but when i chose "SPiralize Outer Contour" it seems to reduce wall count to 1. this sounds reasonable but what if i want more than a single wall.

Posted September 8, 2020 · Cura 4.7 Spiralized contour Setting Blobs Are you printing over the USB? If so then put the file on an SD card and print that way. Essentially, there is only 1 layer (a really long one) with Spiralize so it shouldn't retract once it's above the base.

This is my first vase attempt with Cura, and I am not happy :sad: When printing, the extruder stops for a very short time, every round of the vase, this leaves a small dot. It leaves a spiralize path of dots on the print. Is this a Cura 14.09 bug??

Increase your Outer Wall Line Width (typically defaults to matching the Wall Line Width, which in turn matches the Line Width). It will ignore any wall thickness settings that require it to use more than one wall, but if you tell the lines themselves to be wider it will make them wider.
